Duwio Subscriber Policy
Last Updated: 01 September 2025
This policy applies when you are acting as a consumer and take out a paid subscription to use Duwio. It sits alongside and supplements our Terms of Use. If there is any inconsistency between this policy and the Terms of Use, this policy takes precedence for consumer subscriptions.
1. About us
Duwio is operated by Spacesuit Media Limited (“we”, “us”). We are incorporated in England and Wales (company number 10017634). Registered office: The Oast EMR Centre, New Road, East Malling, Kent, ME19 6BJ. For subscription queries, email hello@spacesuitmedia.com.
2. Subscriptions and charges
- Pricing, billing periods and applicable taxes are shown before you commit; subscriptions are paid in advance in the currency shown at checkout.
- We’ll email confirmation when your subscription starts.
- If your plan auto-renews this will be stated at purchase and will continue unless cancelled under this policy.
- If payment cannot be taken (e.g., expired card), we may suspend or restrict access until payment succeeds.
3. Trial periods
From time to time we may offer a free trial; the trial length and when charges start will be made clear before you sign up. If you do not wish to continue, cancel before the trial ends.
4. Right to cancel (cooling-off period)
- Consumers in the UK or EU may cancel within 14 days of the subscription start date (the “Cooling-off Period”).
- If you cancel and have not accessed or materially used the service, you’re entitled to a full refund.
- If you used the service during the Cooling-off Period, we may deduct a reasonable amount to reflect services already supplied. By starting to use Duwio during this period you acknowledge your refund may be reduced.
- Cancel via your account settings or email hello@spacesuitmedia.com.
5. Termination after the Cooling-off Period
- You can terminate any time after the Cooling-off Period; it takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle and you won’t be charged again.
- Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable once the Cooling-off Period has expired.
- You may request deletion of your account (and associated personal data) via account settings or by contacting us.
6. Refunds
Refunds are issued only if: (a) you cancel within the Cooling-off Period; (b) a refund is required under applicable consumer law; or (c) we have expressly agreed to refund. Refunds are made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
7. Renewal and changes to subscriptions
- Where your subscription renews automatically, we make this clear at purchase and (where required) we’ll give advance renewal notice.
- We may change the subscription service over time; for material changes we’ll endeavour to give reasonable prior notice.
8. Service standards
We will exercise reasonable skill and care in providing the Duwio service. If there is a significant problem, you may be entitled to re-performance or (if that’s not possible or practicable) a price reduction—your statutory rights are unaffected.
9. Complaints and dispute resolution
- For complaints, contact hello@spacesuitmedia.com; we’ll aim to resolve promptly.
- If unresolved, you may request details of an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider; while we aren’t obliged to use ADR in every case, we will make you aware of its availability. You may also escalate to your local consumer protection authority.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
This policy and any disputes arising out of it are governed by the laws of England. If you are UK-resident, the courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are resident in the EU, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in your local courts; otherwise, the courts of England have jurisdiction.
